💼 About the Role:
Charité’s Department of Health and Nursing Sciences is seeking a Research Associate to join its Health Education focus area, especially in the field of Health Literacy. Key current themes include disaster-related health literacy. The position offers the opportunity for doctoral qualification and participation in impactful, interdisciplinary research and teaching.

📍 Location: Charité – Campus Virchow-Klinikum, Berlin
🕒 Start Date: As soon as possible
📅 Duration: Fixed-term (min. 3 years), part-time (28.9 hours/week)
💶 Salary: TVöD E13

🛠️ Tasks:
• Conduct population-level research on health literacy
• Publish scientific findings and collaborate internationally
• Teach in relevant degree programmes, especially in the Bachelor of Health Sciences
• Supervise students and contribute to curriculum quality
• Engage in institutional and external committees and collaborations

👤 Requirements:
• Master's degree in public health, nursing, social sciences, or related field
• Strong knowledge of health literacy and the German health system
• Experience in quantitative research and data analysis
• Excellent German (min. C1) and good English skills
• Strong team spirit, communication skills, and scientific writing experience
