Entrepreneurship Meets Health Innovation at Large-Scale Facilities


Hosted by the University of Hamburg, this week-long event connects researchers, students, and academic staff to explore how cutting-edge science at large-scale research facilities can drive health innovation and entrepreneurship. The program begins with a high-level conference featuring speakers from WHO, academia, and industry, followed by interactive workshops at institutions like European XFEL, EMBL, and CSSB. Participants gain hands-on experience and explore topics ranging from nanomedicine to design thinking. Social events, including a virtual reality evening and a boat tour, offer additional networking opportunities. Certificates of participation are provided.

From 2 to 6 June 2025, the National Contact Point for Health (NKS Gesundheit) is hosting a free online event series focused on proposal writing in Horizon Europe’s Health Cluster and the Cancer Mission.


Held daily from 13:00 to 14:30 CEST, each session will provide around 45 minutes of in-depth guidance on key sections of Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action (RIA) proposals, followed by a Q&A opportunity.

Dear colleagues,


We are pleased to invite you to the international symposium “Tackling Inequalities in Cervical Cancer Prevention: Strategies and New Methods”, organized by the Chair of Epidemiology at the Technical University of Munich. The symposium will take place on June 12–13, 2025, at the TUM Science & Study Center Raitenhaslach.


At this event, leading international experts will discuss innovative strategies for improving cervical cancer prevention and reducing global inequalities in this field.


Participation is free of charge and possible both in person and virtually via Zoom. On-site catering will be provided; however, participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs. Please note that the number of in-person spots is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
