Here are some of them 1. sharing health materials through the use of mobile phones in WhatsApp groups, 2. Public, private and community radio stations conduct phone-in programs on specific health programs. 3. Some community health workers and volunteers are provided mobile phones to store and share health information. Challenges are costly airtime and lack of electricity for charging the phones. However, some programs provide solar chargers to keep phones charged at all times. There are still some areas where mobile connectivity is not available. Most health workers use their personal phones and airtime to share health information which is a great sacrifice considering that airtime is more expensive in Malawi than its neighbours.  More ...
