Reflecting on my experience at the 77th WHA, I noticed that the interconnection of climate change with various areas of health, such as nutritional health and antimicrobial resistance (AMR), is gaining traction.
      In addition, there was a focus on the importance of integrating climate resilience into health systems. This involves not only reducing the sector's environmental footprint but also ensuring that healthcare services can withstand and adapt to the impacts of climate change. For example, healthcare facilities must be prepared for extreme weather events, which are becoming more frequent and severe due to climate change.
      Also the importance of international collaboration in addressing these challenges was highlighted. Sharing best practices, research, and innovations across borders is crucial for developing effective strategies to mitigate the health impacts of climate change. There is a call for stronger policies and investments in sustainable healthcare, as well as increased awareness and education among healthcare professionals and the public about the links between climate change and health.
