The GLOHRA Scientific Workshop will bring together researchers and health professionals to examine the often-overlooked perspectives and experiences of Eastern Europe in global health debates. The workshop will explore the sociopolitical factors behind the European East–West health divide, including migration, resource inequalities, healthcare disparities, and the region’s connections with societies in the Global South. 🤝 The two-day event will also discuss approaches to epistemic justice and addressing persistent health inequities, while strengthening interdisciplinary and transregional networks working on health in Eastern Europe. 🌱📚 📅 29–30 October 2026 The workshop is particularly relevant for early-career and senior researchers, as well as health professionals working on European and global health inequalities.
