GARDP will host a live webinar reflecting on the “5 BY 25” initiative, launched in 2019 with the ambitious goal of developing five new antibiotic treatments between 2020 and 2025. The session will highlight key achievements, lessons learned, and remaining challenges, while outlining how GARDP is building on this progress to advance sustainable, public health–driven antibiotic R&D and access 🌍💊.
The webinar will feature insights from leading experts Anand Anandkumar (Bugworks), Manica Balasegaram (GARDP), Glenda Gray (SAMRC), and David Paterson (ADVANCE-ID), and will be moderated by Herman Goossens (University of Antwerp).
