Your tasks
You will work under the guidance of a senior consultant with increasing responsibility in the following areas:

Acquisition of new projects, including elaboration and coordination of technical and financial proposals in the field of Health;
Management of ongoing projects and studies (backstopping) on site and Hamburg-based (financial and technical administration, monitoring and evaluation of projects and studies);
Networking with donor agencies, beneficiaries, partner companies or institutions, subcontractors and experts;
Participation in field missions;
Elaboration of reports, concepts and presentations and contribution to knowledge and quality management;
Carrying out short term research assignments on various public health topics to support acquisition and/or knowledge management in the team;
Representing GFA in conferences and seminars.
Your profile
A postgraduate university degree in public health, global health, health sciences, digital health, medical studies or similar;
Between 1 and 2 years of relevant work experience (incl. internships) in one or more of our business fields mentioned above;
Past relevant work experience in developing or transition countries, in development cooperation, will be considered an asset;
Full proficiency in written and spoken English is required. An intermediate level in French (B2) is considered a strong asset;
Advanced proficiency in the use of standard MS Office and Internet applications;
Willingness to travel abroad and to remote areas;
Strong writing, communication and presentation skills;
Ability to manage complex situations under tight schedules.
