German Hospital Institute (DKI) is seeking a full-time research intern to support its research team on empirical healthcare studies, particularly the projects “Hospital Barometer” and “Skilled Workforce Monitoring”.

tasks
• Collect, interpret, and statistically analyze hospital statistics and survey data
• Prepare research results visually and in written form for publications and presentations
• Conduct ad-hoc literature research and summarize academic sources
• Support research on topics such as resilience, sustainability, and AI in hospitals
• Assist with data processing, management, and questionnaire programming

profile requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or ongoing studies) in health sciences, health economics, social sciences, psychology, sociology, or related fields
• Strong interest in empirical research and applied healthcare studies
• Ideally initial knowledge or experience in the healthcare sector
• Careful, independent working style and ability to work in a team
• Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with statistical software (preferably SPSS) is an advantage
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a study program or training program that includes an internship
