The Medizinischer Dienst Bund is seeking a Social or Health Scientist (m/f/d) to strengthen its multiprofessional unit “Health Insurance Advisory Services.” The position is a parental leave replacement, initially fixed-term until 31 December 2027, with prospects for continued employment. Start date: as soon as possible.

Working hours: Part-time (up to 28 hours/week)
Location: Essen or Berlin (with option for mobile work)

Key responsibilities:

* Analyzing nationwide documentation of long-term care insurance prevention services in inpatient care facilities
* Preparing results for the official Prevention Report
* Further developing documentation processes within the MD Bund online system
* Close collaboration with the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds (GKV-Spitzenverband) and federal associations of long-term care funds

Profile requirements:

* Degree in social sciences or health sciences (or comparable qualification)
* Strong experience in data analysis using complex statistical software (e.g., SPSS)
* Good MS Office skills
* Ability to present complex issues clearly and comprehensibly
* Experience in preparing publications
* Strong teamwork, organizational skills, service orientation, and independent working style
