The Senatsverwaltung für Wissenschaft, Gesundheit und Pflege (SenWGP) is seeking a Policy Officer (f/m/d) for fundamental and legal affairs related to school fee compensation (Ref. No. 16/26). The position is located in Department I – Health in Berlin.
Location: Oranienstr. 106, 10969 Berlin
Working hours: Full-time (39.4 hours/week; part-time generally possible)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: E13 TV-L
Start date: As soon as possible

Key responsibilities:
* Advising on fundamental and legal matters concerning school fee compensation
* Handling professional regulatory issues and coordinating and evaluating related procedures
* Managing complex procedural and individual case matters
* Designing and steering funding guideline measures, including cooperation with training providers
* Providing strategic and conceptual guidance in this policy field
* Coordinating and managing budget matters
Profile requirements:
* Completed Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Law (Second State Examination, fully qualified lawyer) or Political Science (Master/Magister/Diplom)
* Relevant professional and interdisciplinary competencies as outlined in the official requirements profile
* Strong analytical, legal, and strategic skills
