The Max Rubner-Institut is seeking a researcher to contribute to nemo kids/family, a national monitoring initiative on nutrition and food consumption among children, adolescents, pregnant, and breastfeeding individuals in Germany. The project supports evidence-based policymaking through large-scale representative online surveys.

đ Key Responsibilities:
⢠Develop questionnaires on determinants of eating habits and food consumption
⢠Support planning and coordination of national online surveys
⢠Collaborate with internal and external research partners
⢠Analyze and interpret data; draft reports and publications
⢠Contribute to refining long-term study designs
đŠâđ Required Profile:
⢠Masterâs or Diploma in Nutritional Sciences, Public Health Nutrition, or a related field (with a good grade minimum)
⢠Expertise in nutrition science, ideally in nutritional epidemiology
⢠Experience with human studies and survey-based data collection
⢠Excellent written and spoken German
⢠Desirable:
o Scientific publication and statistical analysis experience (SPSS or R)
o Good to excellent English skills
o Strong communication and teamwork abilities
đ Whatâs Offered:
⢠Full-time contract (39 hrs/week) until 31 Dec 2026
⢠Salary according to public sector (TVÜD Bund), pay group 13
⢠Flexible hours, part-time options, and remote work (up to 60% in Germany)
