Joint research, publication and launch event by members of the Global Health Hub Germany
Geöst Gesperrt Unbeantwortet
I think it could be a good idea to think about a joint, annual publication of the Global Health Hub Germany. It could focus an overarching topic that draws attention to a specific problem every year and raises awareness of the issue. Have there already been ideas in this direction or is it even feasible? I would have a first impulse for a relevant topic... and would like to invite others to a discussion.

I think that is a great idea! Dont we already have every year one recommended overarching topic (currently health care in humanitarian crisis settings?) given by the steering committee?

Hey Ole,

Thanks for your great suggestions! Every year, the Hub Communities have an annual theme. Last year, it was "Planetary Health." The Community Manager selects a pertinent cross-cutting topic to connect Communities with each other, enabling them to jointly deliver meaningful contributions to policymakers and health practitioners in Germany and beyond. The output includes Policy Briefs or Community Papers, which showcase examples of what works, best practices, and policy recommendations, along with online events.

This year's annual theme will be "Global Health in Conflict Settings," with a call for contributions coming soon.

If you have other topics you would like to work on, please feel free to request something on the marketplace and find other interested Hub members who would like to join. You can also reach out to us, the Hub Management Team, if you have specific plans you would like to discuss.
