New Opportunity – Senior Scientist (Pending funding approval, and not the same position as the one I posted few days ago) October 2025 – September 2026 📍 Location: Berlin – you must already be based in Berlin or able to work here without relocation or visa assistance. We are looking for a highly independent researcher with a strong background in program evaluation or social sciences to lead a global research project related to the EU Global Health Strategy. You’ll work closely with global health experts and policymakers across EU Member States, helping to shape how the strategy delivers results. This role requires someone who has: ✅ A PhD (required – not optional) in program evaluation, social science, or a related field ✅ Demonstrated experience in 1) scoping or systematic reviews, and either 2) survey design (preferred), or 3) key informant interviews ✅ A strong track record of peer-reviewed publications ✅ Demonstrated independence in in leading research projects from concept to dissemination ✅ Ability to triangulate data and findings between different data sources and research methods ✅ Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-level outputs ✅ Experience managing complex coordination across institutions ✅ Full professional fluency in English (spoken and written) I am really humbled by, and grateful for the overwhelming interest in working with our unit.
