We warmly invite you to our upcoming webinar "Food Systems under Pressure" on October 27, 15:00-16:15 CET as part of our new webinar series "Connecting Climate Change and Health".
Climate change is undermining food systems worldwide: droughts, floods and heat reduce harvests, disrupt supply chains and drive up food prices. The health consequences are severe, ranging from acute malnutrition in drought-affected regions such as the Horn of Africa to an increased risk of food-borne diseases and a growing burden of diet-related non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The webinar will therefore explore how we can build food systems that are resilient and sustainable in order to protect nutrition and health.
