The Global Health Academy will host an interactive two-day workshop for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers on the responsible conduct of science in global health research. Participants will engage in expert-led discussions and collaborative activities, including a session at the United Nations University on the UN Campus Bonn.
The program will address:
- Good scientific practice and ethics: respect, integrity, equity, sustainability, environmental impacts, and reflection on power and positionality.
- Human rights in global health: gender equality, intersectionality, and barriers to progress.
- Ideologies and context: the influence of historical and political ideologies such as Cold War legacies, authoritarianism, and global capitalism on research.
Insights from the workshop will help shape a self-paced online training program to be launched in 2026 via the new GLOHRA Training Platform.
