📢 Student Assistant Position – Research on Assisted Reproduction (ReproQueer Project) | Dealine: May 15, 2025
The University of Rostock is seeking a Student Assistant (m/f/d) for an interdisciplinary research project on medically assisted reproduction for same-sex couples in Germany (ReproQueer). The position is available immediately and runs until December 31, 2025.
🕒 Start: As soon as possible
📍 Location: Remote work possible (German university enrollment required)
📆 Contract ends: December 31, 2025
📝 Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and managing the Public-Use File from the FDZ Gesundheit using Python and STATA
Researching additional health data sources (e.g. AOK datasets)
Optional: Conducting literature reviews and managing references (e.g. Citavi or Zotero)
👤 Your Profile:
Master’s student in social sciences, public health, or a related field
Experience handling and processing complex datasets
Familiarity with Python and STATA or willingness to learn
Interest in social science aspects of reproductive medicine
Familiarity with reference management tools (Citavi/Zotero)
Reliable, careful, and self-driven work style
