The RKI Department for Nosocomial Pathogens and Antibiotic Resistance (FG13) is offering a masterβs thesis project for students in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Medicine or related fields.
π¬ Project Focus:
The thesis is part of an interdisciplinary research project on detecting antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in wastewater. Students will work with a combination of traditional culture-based methods and modern molecular techniques, including Digital PCR (dPCR) and Whole genome and metagenome sequencing.
