Recap: Last week in the Global Mental Health Hub Community
On Wednesday the Global Mental Health Hub Community organized a meeting on the topics climate change & mental health.
Our guest Jessica Newberry Lee Vay presented her work at Connecting Climate Minds. Connecting Climate Minds is a project that works across disciplines to connect the climate and mental health community. They aim to develop a global research agenda grounded in the needs of people with lived experience of mental health challenges in the context of climate change. To encourage interdisciplinary exchange they created a digital platform. This might be especially interesting for members of the Climate Change and Health Hub Community, you can find the digital platform here (
https://hub.connectingclimateminds.org) and learn more about Connecting Climate Minds on their website (
https://www.connectingclimateminds.org/) .
During the meeting, we discussed opportunities for future collaborations between our communities and talked about plans regarding the publication of our latest policy paper.
If you are as excited as we are to see how this new collaboration unfolds, you are welcome to join our next meeting with Jessica in June. The exact date will be announced in the Global Mental Health group and here.
