The Berlin Institute of Health at Charité (BIH) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher (d/w/m) to join its Computational Medicine group. The position is available full-time or part-time (min. 35h/week), fixed-term for 3 years, with a start date of 1 March 2026 (or as soon as possible).

🔬 Key Tasks
• Advance research in molecular precision medicine using large-scale, ethnically diverse whole-genome and whole-exome sequencing data
• Develop and apply computational, statistical, and functional genomics methods
• Build bioinformatic workflows integrating population genomics with single-cell omics data
• Analyze electronic health records for genetically informed cohort selection
• Apply causal inference and deep learning approaches to link genetic variation with disease outcomes
• Supervise and mentor junior researchers and students

👤 Profile Requirements
• PhD in genomics, statistical genomics, genetic epidemiology, or a related field
• Strong publication record in genomics, multiomics, and/or single-cell analysis
• Experience with high-throughput sequencing data, large-scale association studies, and computational genomics
• Proficiency in programming and HPC/cloud environments
• Strong English communication skills
• Translational mindset with interest in clinical applications
