Position overview
inav is a leading German research and consulting institute in the health sector, working at the interface of science, policy and practice. The institute is seeking a Research Associate in Health Economics to support applied, decision-oriented research projects aimed at improving health care delivery.
Key tasks
• Design and conduct health economic evaluations (e.g. within Innovation Fund projects)
• Plan and carry out real-world evidence (RWE) analyses, including analyses of statutory health insurance claims data
• Apply quantitative and statistical methods (e.g. regression analyses, matching methods, survival analysis)
• Advise clients and project partners on study design, methodological choices and feasibility
• Prepare presentations and contribute to publications for client workshops and scientific journals
Profile required
• Master’s or Diploma degree in Health Economics, Health Sciences, Economics, Social Sciences or a comparable field (PhD desirable but not required)
• Experience with interventional and observational studies and strong interest in study design
• Solid quantitative and statistical background; programming skills expected
• Good understanding of the German health care system, including reimbursement mechanisms and innovation pathways
• Strong analytical writing skills and initial experience with scientific publications
• Independent, highly motivated working style and enthusiasm for complex content
• Very good German and English skills
