📑 Job Opening: Advisor for Nursing & Health Policy (part-time, Berlin)

The Volkssolidarität Federal Office in Berlin-Mitte is hiring a Policy Advisor for Nursing and Health Policy starting 1 October 2025. The role is 20 hours/week, limited until 30 September 2028.

Key tasks:
• Represent the association in federal-level health and nursing policy debates and committees.
• Monitor and assess political developments, prepare position papers, and ensure knowledge transfer within the organization.
• Contribute (8–10 hrs/week) to a project on health promotion and prevention in day-care nursing, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Profile requirements:
• Degree in nursing science, health management, public health, or equivalent.
• Ideally, practical nursing experience or training.
• Strong interest in long-term care and health policy, plus prevention and health promotion.
• Advantage: experience in associations, socio-political or project work.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and structured, independent working style.
• Confident written communication and ability to present complex issues clearly.
