The AOK Scientific Institute (WIdO) is seeking a Head of the Research Department for Health Policy and System Analyses. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Berlin, with up to 40% remote work possible.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the department's research strategy.
• Initiate and oversee research projects related to health and long-term care policy.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including policymakers and academic institutions.
• Represent the department in national and international forums.
• Manage and develop the department's team.

Candidate Profile:
• Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in economics, social sciences, health sciences, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in health policy research and system analysis.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in German (C1 level) and English.
