📢 Position Sought: External Consultant for Evaluating Four Projects Supporting Refugee Children in Germany (Freelance/Project-Based)

📌 Tasks:
1. Conduct an evaluation of four projects supporting refugee children in Germany, implemented by Save the Children between 2022-2024.
2. Assess the projects based on OECD-DAC criteria (Relevance, Coherence, Effectiveness, Efficiency, Impact, and Sustainability).
3. Provide practical and strategic recommendations for future improvements.
4. Collaborate with Save the Children’s team throughout the evaluation process.
5. Present findings and recommendations in a final report (30-35 pages) and in a presentation.

🧑‍💼 Profile Requirements:
1. Extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods for project evaluations, ideally in the fields of child rights, migration, or humanitarian aid.
2. Knowledge of refugee accommodation, child protection, and psychosocial support in Germany is an advantage.
3. Strong intercultural competence and communication skills.
4. Availability to conduct in-person interviews in various locations in Germany.
