German-West African Center for Global Health and Pandemic Prevention (G-WAC) Call for Applications for a 3-month research stay either in Ghana or Germany.

Hosted by the College of Health Sciences at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana, G-WAC collaborates with the Technical University Berlin, Charité University of Medicine, and the University of Bonn in Germany.

Research Focus: G-WAC addresses the existential threat of pandemics through trans- and interdisciplinary research, targeting key drivers (e.g., health impacts of habitat encroachment, extensive agriculture, and climate change) and resilient health system pillars in the WHO framework. One Health approaches are emphasized.
