Event Description:	The Academy for Public Health invites medical, dental, public health, and health sciences students as well as anyone interested in the work of the public health service (ÖGD) to its Summer School 2025. Over three days, participants will gain a comprehensive, practice-oriented introduction to public health. Expert-led sessions cover key topics such as: Infectious disease control and hygiene Prevention and health promotion Child and youth health Environmental health and drinking water safety Health reporting and research in the ÖGD Alongside inspiring best-practice examples from municipal health authorities, the Summer School offers networking opportunities with experienced professionals and fellow students from across Germany. Participation is free of charge. Registration is required via the Academy’s website: Summer School 2025.
