We are excited to invite you to the kick-off workshop for our new cross-community annual theme on:
“AI in Global Health – A Double-Edged Sword”,
the thematic focus of the Global Health Hub Germany Communities for 2025/2026.
Together, we aim to explore the promises and pitfalls of artificial intelligence in global health: Where is AI already making a difference in global health today, what risks need to be addressed to ensure ethical and equitable use, and what interdisciplinary perspectives must be included?

We are glad to welcome Dr Felix Holl, Deputy Director of the DigiHealth Institute at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, as our keynote speaker. His work focuses on the evaluation and application of digital health technologies in global and crisis settings – with a particular emphasis on public health informatics and health systems strengthening through innovation
