The Fondation Mérieux is hosting the 7th Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Course: A One Health Challenge from November 9–13, 2026 at the Les Pensières Center for Global Health 🇫🇷. This intensive residential training, organized in collaboration with Université Paris Cité, tackles the growing global threat of antimicrobial resistance 🦠—a major challenge to modern medicine. Guided by the World Health Organization’s Global Action Plan, the course focuses on translating strategy into real-world action through a One Health approach 🌍. Over five days, participants will explore key themes including awareness, surveillance, multi-sector interventions, responsible antimicrobial use, and the economic and social dimensions of AMR. The program is designed primarily for professionals from low- and middle-income countries, aiming to strengthen decision-making, foster collaboration, and build sustainable global networks 🤝. 📅 Registration deadline: May 18, 2026 |
