Trauma-Informed Public Health Conference & Public Mental Health Summer School

The Medical University of Gdańsk, in collaboration with the European Public Health Association (EUPHA), Public Mental Health Section, invites you to the 6th International Summer School on Public Mental Health, co-funded by the European Union. This year's theme, "Trauma-Informed Public Health – Approaches to Resilience and Trauma-Informed Care," focuses on understanding the impact of trauma and promoting resilience within public health systems.

Programme Highlights:

• 2 June 2025: International Opening Conference

• 3–6 June 2025: Summer School featuring:

  • Expert lectures from leading European professionals

  • Interactive workshops and collaborative group work

The summer school will explore the mental health impacts of recent traumatic events such as the war in Ukraine and migration crises, deepen understanding of trauma's effects on individuals and communities, and highlight strategies for trauma-informed care across public health systems.
