At the same time, it examines the growing tension between scientific progress and public trust, particularly the rise of anti-science sentiment in the United States during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event features Anne Schuchat, a former senior leader at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who brings over 30 years of experience in public health.
