On 9 November 2026, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin will host a dialogue event exploring how diversity-oriented and patient-centred healthcare can be sustainably embedded in healthcare structures and everyday clinical practice. The event will bring together perspectives from healthcare, research, counselling, patients, and communities to discuss practical approaches to making healthcare more inclusive, equitable, and responsive to diverse needs. 🌍🤝 The programme will feature a presentation by Hürrem Tezcan-Güntekin from Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences on racism in healthcare and recommendations for action in inpatient healthcare settings. Further contributions will be delivered by Desislava Dimitrova, Bahar Naghavi, Simone Prengel, and Isabell Knispel from Charité’s EMPDIV Steering Committee.
