Following the 30-minute speaker’s presentation, the Series encourages an academic exchange between the speaker and the audience in a 30-minute Q&A session.\nIn this edition of the GLOHRA Academy Series, Dr. Ahmed Abd El Wahed will introduce innovative approaches to think and tackle global One Health challenges. He is the lab head at the Institute of Animal Hygiene and Veterinary Public Health at Universität Leipzig and coordinator of an EDCTP-funded project to implement rapid diagnostics of emerging diseases in Sub-Saharan Africa. His extensive knowledge and experience in the field of infectious disease will inform his talk on Global One Health as an integrated approach to promoting human and animal health.
